"The Parish of Loughguile comprises the most of the civil parish of Loughguile and a large part of that of Kilraghts - the remainder of these parishes are included in the parish of Dunloy and Cloughmills." The chapter touches on the antiquities, churches, parish priests, and local history of the area, including the Lord (George) Macartney of Lissanoure connection whose family owned the Loughguile estate.
